my premise is that faith is a form of self-deceit - lying to oneself.. so, i would ask of the "faithful" the following questions and would request that they be read carefully to ensure no that there is no misunderstanding of purpose.. 1) in what way is faith not self-deception?.

You can line up the fossils any way you like, yet there exist more than one conclusion as to whether all birds have a common ancestor. There is no proof that the sparrow descended from the archaeopteryx, only a speculative (and perhaps pre-conceived) conclusion.

What we observe are different fossils we categorize under the family equidae.
You conclude the fossils so grouped support more than adaptation/micro-evolution, yet there is no proof of the horse "kind" becoming another "kind".

I'm afraid I can't agree with you there BA. Several species are arguably transitional. Archeopteryx and mudskippers come to mind. Now, if I am proven wrong, so be it! Also, I am not denying that a Creator NEVER intervened, he may have, but that the way evolution is describes generally maps well to what we find out there. I do believe however that we humans are more than a product of the process, we are a special case.

Yep, arguably is the key word, bro. Detective work is as much (or perhaps more) art, than it is science. Archaeology and evolution lean very heavily on such detective work. Time will eventually indisputably prove what is true and what is mistaken.

Partly correct. I do not find convincing evidence for one kind becoming another kind. Sparrows beaks, coloration, etc may adapt to their environment over time, but there is no convincing evidence that the sparrow ever became anything but a sparrow, as just one example.

Not all theories have the same veracity.
Detectives have theories that have put many innocents behind bars. Using your "logic", the detective's theory is on par with the theory of gravity.

The indisputable facts can be interpreted many ways. In other words, you see the fossil record (which record exists as indisputable fact) as supporting the theory of evolution, whereas creationists see the fossil record supporting creation. I'm not talking adaptation/micro-evolution, which is an indisputable fact. Design is another issue. Statistical probability is another.

No. You research it yourself. It's called "creationism", one of it's variants is "intelligent design". You can google it. I'm not re-inventing the wheel.
Please keep in mind that many that do not have faith in the existence of God would very much like to.
God will raise His two witnesses in due time, to perform miracles. Not unlike previous miracles, however, they will be forgotten and disputed by many.
Most Christians I've spoken with end up supporting there faith with a personal experience that they've interpreted as some sort of message from God or otherwise divine intervention.
Not this Christian.
